SHE: Sisters, Healthy & Empowered
SHE demonstrates a shift toward a holistic and integrated systematic approach to youth development, mental health, and wellness. For effective program implementation, Sisterhood Agenda offers Sister Circles training for individuals and agencies. Contact us for details.
SESSION: SATURDAY, MARCH 19, 2016 11AM-6PM
Sisterhood Agenda promotes sisterhood among girls by supporting them in making healthy choices. SHE project staff will implement evidence-based youth activities for 50 girls ages 12-17 at the SEA in St. John.
The main objective of the newly expanded SHE initiative is to recognize, address, and diminish multiple major health disparities for local teenage girls in the St. Thomas-St. John school district, promote healthy behavior and teamwork.
Agencies may host SHE activities at their locations by contacting us. SHE is part of Sisterhood Agenda’s Global Educational Empowerment Project.
